We’ve recently had the pleasure of working with Amanda Alcock from Coastal Interior Decorating when preparing our Gerringong property for sale.

Amanda helped make our modern duplex into a true designer home. She advised on everything from colour scheme, furniture, bedding, soft furnishings, floor coverings, artwork, kids bedrooms, to the overall flow from room to room.

She listened to our ideas and quickly understood the style we were looking for. The hard edges were softened with the use of many organic and natural materials. Amanda created a fabulous outdoor entertaining space, a very stylish master suite and the two children's rooms were age appropriate, colourful and welcoming.

Working with Amanda was a lot of fun and the process evolved every time we met. She was extremely resourceful whilst sourcing some truly beautiful pieces for our home. We found Amanda to certainly be 'in the know' about everything that is design and style related. She was able to keep well within our budget and then delivered the end product within our time-frame. Every meeting was beneficial and we would whole-heartedly recommend her without reservation. 

We decided to set the asking price a little higher once reviewing the amazing transformation Amanda had done. Our property sold for the full asking price at the first open house and we were of course absolutely thrilled with the result. Amanda really stepped the property up to the next level and changed it from being a house that felt well designed, to a home that inspired the buyers and felt lived in. Amanda took all the thinking and the worries out of the process for us. She definitely fulfilled our expectations and I would certainly recommend her work to anyone.
